Coronavirus street theater performed in Ahvaz: Photos

Artists have performed a street theater show in Iran’s southwestern city of Ahvaz to raise public awareness about coronavirus prevention 

Some artists dressed as healthcare workers performed a piece on the importance of social distancing and the dangers of COVID-19 respiratory disease, which is caused by the new coronavirus.

The flu-like deadly virus originated in China in late 2019 and later spread to nearly every country in the world.

The pandemic has infected more than 82.8 million people worldwide and killed over 1.8 million, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
